Bill O’Bryan is Vice President, Sales and Purchasing and overall Manager of “Putting out Fires.” Being the inside voice and face of GrayGlass, Bill is instrumental in continuing the company tradition of knowledgeable, reliable, quality glass fabrication. Having his last name on all company orders is a responsibility that he carries proudly from the first generation of his family.

Bill's long history in the industry began years ago in the GrayGlass factory, where he was responsible for: cutting / machine operations (drilling/tube sawing/sand blasting/delivery driver/quality control inspection/etc.) sales, purchasing. He typically carried several roles and wore many hats including: purchasing material from all over the world, training new sales personal, organizing production flow with factory general manager, to meet all customer demands and trouble shooting difficult problem jobs, to work through road blocks that many other competitors walk away from and don’t address.

Due to his constant diligence and unique understanding of client needs, Bill has made the extraordinary journey to Vice President of the company.  Along the way, Bill has been recognized for outstanding performance when GrayGlass won the “Rutledge Award” in 1986, for the most significant increase in business, amongst Corning Glass Distributors.

In 1995, GrayGlass also was won the award of appreciation from The New York Section Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) given in acknowledgement of excellence and meritorious contribution to the art and science of lighting. Bill is also involved with several organizations including IES, AIA (American Institute of Architects) and Huntington Sports League/CYO.

As a graduate of Marist College in 1986, Bill received a BS in Business.  His personal hobbies/interests include being an involved husband and dad to three great kids: Ashley, Courtney, and Kyle. He enjoys coaching, and attending their busy activities.
